Molasses Cookies

Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, Dr. Oetker Baking Powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves until well combined. Set aside.

In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, molasses, and Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar, and continue to mix until smooth and uniform.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a consistent dough forms. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm apart to allow room for spreading.

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
