Preheat your oven to 180°C. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, Dr. Oetker Baking Powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg. Mix it until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending well to form a soft dough.
In a small bowl, mix 50 g of granulated sugar with ground cinnamon for the coating.
Shape the dough into 2.5cm balls. Roll each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
Place the coated dough balls onto the baking sheets with at least 5 cm spacing. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious snickerdoodles!
