Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a loaf pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, Dr. Oetker Baking Powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the mashed bananas and Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Slice the additional banana lengthwise and place both halves on top if the dough. Bake in the preheated oven for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
