Preheat your oven to 180°C and line your cupcake tray with cupcake liners. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, Dr. Oetker Baking Powder, and salt until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix the buttermilk, vegetable oil, Dr. Oetker Organic Vanilla Paste and eggs. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Divide the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
To make the frosting, coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler over low heat. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter until frothy. Add the powdered sugar, first mixing on the lowest setting and then on the highest setting. Add the melted chocolate and mix until creamy.
Place the cream in a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle (Ø 8 mm) and decoratively distribute it on the chocolate muffins. Serve and enjoy your delicious homemade Chocolate Cupcakes!
